At PT Kabepe Chakra, we blend over six decades of tradition with modern innovation to produce world-class teas. From our beginnings in 1956 with Tiedeman Van Kerchem, we’ve grown into a trusted tea specialist managing five estates and nine factories in West Java.

Our Services

Kabepe Chakra combines traditional and modern methods to harvest finest tea leaves from its own plantations. Our tea leaves then undergo a fine-tuned process with meticulous attention to provide teas of distinctive character, flavor and aroma. We offer a vast selection of products, namely single origin, blended and specialty tea. In addition to our immense range of products and global experiences, we have a team of proficient tea sommeliers ready to cater to each customer’s desired taste profile.

Situated in the West Java province, the original tea plantation has blossomed into five estates and nine factories, now under the management of PT Kabepe Chakra.

Ciliwung Estate
Ciliwung Tea Estate, established in 1907 in Bogor, West Java, spans 535 hectares and is part of Indonesia's colonial tea farming heritage. Known for its stunning landscapes and high-quality green and black teas,the estate reflects a rich history of tea cultivation. Visitors can explore the estate while learning about its historical significance and the tea-making process, all within a tranquil natural setting.
Kanaan Estate
Negara Kanaan Estate & Factory spans 378 hectares and is renowned for its sustainable tea cultivation and lush landscapes. Skilled workers harvest fresh leaves for peak flavor, which are processed on-site into premium teas known for their rich aromas and tastes. The estate also supports the local community through job creation and social initiatives, making it vital to the region's economy and the tea industry.
GAL Factory

Gambung Argo Lestari Factory, located in Gambung, Indonesia, is known for its lush tea gardens and premium quality teas.

Using sustainable practices, the estate cultivates diverse tea plants for rich flavors, while the modern on-site factory processes them into aromatic products. Committed to environmental stewardship, it supports the local economy and promotes Indonesia’s tea heritage.

PAL Factory

Pangalengan Argo Lestari Factory, nestled in West Java’s fertile Pangalengan region, produces high-quality teas using sustainable farming on its scenic, rolling hills. The estate’s cool climate and rich soil enhance the tea’s flavor and aroma, while modern on-site processing ensures premium quality. Baru Ullis Estate

Baru Ullis Estate & Factory, spanning 35 hectares in West Java’s scenic hills, is renowned for its quality tea and sustainable practices. Cisurupan Factory

Annually processing a remarkable 12,000 tons, our distinguished assortment comprises predominantly of premium green tea at 82%, alongside black tea at 8%, Japanese tea at 3% and black oolong tea at 7%.
